Happy Home...and Garden

First time home buying is very exciting and often lots of work!  With a list 2 miles long of to-dos, it is nice to take a break and eat a cookie or two ! 

  

Two of my close friends recently bought homes here on the central coast and are in the process of getting settled in.  My husband and I have been in our "new" first home for 7 months now and we are just starting to feel settled :) 

Not only is there work to be done on the inside, but much love must be given to the outside as well.

With spring here and summer quickly approaching, the gardens are getting planted and the veggies are starting to grow. 

It has been so much fun sharing the new home owner experience with my two close friends.  Swapping decorating magazines and sharing stories about moving, cleaning, painting, decorating and planting have kept us laughing and loving the next big step in our lives.

Happy Doggone Birthday!

Meet Logan.  Logan's mom, Jenny, is celebrating a birthday this weekend and her friend thought it would be fun to give her a little treat to help celebrate.  

Jenny's beloved dog Logan was the inspiration for this fun order. We were very excited to try out our doggie themed cookie cutters for the first time.  Dogs, doghouses, bones and fire hydrants! What's not to love? 

Packaged in a black dog bowl, these cookies made a fun presentation.  And MY pup, Kiska, was so proud to pose next to these cookies.  (She loves a photo shoot!)

Spring Love

Spring has sprung and the wildflowers in the area are in full bloom.  What is more inspiring than a field of beautiful flowers?

This yummy bouquet was made especially for an anniversary gift, and we enjoyed every minute decorating these beautiful flowers.

Cute As A Button

My sister in law is expecting her second little bundle of joy very, very soon! We celebrated the arrival of Di's baby brother with a few good friends, family, and lot of treats. 

Dianne soon remembered the little Bee cake pops from the summer before and was very excited for today's pops.  She quickly realized she enjoyed the pretzels covered in caramel and chocolate too!

These cute as a button cookies had peaked her interest as well.  The small yellow flowers soon disappeared when adult eyes were looking the other way.

We love hearing your constant "MMMs"while you savor each bite. 

As the party neared the end and all of the gifts were opened and adored, the doggie bags were being packed for daddy waiting patiently at home.  Di made certain that the cake pops made it in the bag, not only for daddy, but one for "later" for her too.  ~ Kimi
